Gary Vaynerchuk

Hey guys, I want to introduce another awesome entrepreneur who can be a great inspiration to you in your personal journey. This gentlemen is the manifestation of the word hustle and will quickly change how you define it. He’ll give it to you straight, and lay down the reality of what being an entrepreneur will take.  His name is Gary Vaynerchuk and he is a social media mogul and he is changing lives with his rising media presence. I’m not part of the VaynerNation as he likes to call it, but I am gobbling up loads of value from this guy. Recently a friend turned some of the guys here onto his book, #AskGaryVee, let me tell you first hand – it’s pure gold!

Gary made his start by promoting his wine business on a podcast, and has taken that to a whole new level with his business and entrepreneur podcast. You can check them out by heading to youtube and just typing ask Gary Vee. He has tons of content out there, and most of it is just a few minutes long, and jammed with great nuggets. You can easily get your fill in just 10 to 20 minutes and feel invigorated.

He differs from people like Grant Cardone in his background, but shares the same belief that there is no substitute for hustle. I think some of our readers will take particular interests in Gary Vaynerchuk because he stays abreast of new technologies, and in particular emerging online platforms. This is huge for many because social media obviously has the ability to propel entrepreneurs into the next stratosphere of business. So staying up with whats new just a few minutes a week can keep you pointing in the right direction.

Speaking of pointing in the right direction, I just want to touch on a take home point from Gary’s book. He uses the analogy of somebody’s north store, which is the guide post that you are heading to long term, and not just in the next 5 or 10 year,  but more of a lifetime goal. For Gary it is buying the New York Jets, and everything happening currently is a stepping stone to that ultimate destination.

I think for the guys here, and for our readers it’s important to define that north star, and know what you’re ultimately striving towards. So when moments in life come up, you’re like “oh that’s why I’m doing this.” Everyones why is different, and it doesn’t matter exactly what it is, it just matter that it inspires you, and it makes you constantly want to move closer to it.

I hope that there was some value to take from this post, and that you guys check out Gary Vee, determine your north star, and kick butt in what your working towards.
